Big and Small

by nicole in Peace and the Arts

Back in 2004, I helped Berkeley High school students create a video ‘Children Of The Dirt’ for the Norcal High School Cycling League. In this espisode ‘Big and Small’ we learn how any body type excels in cycling and how eating right certainly affects a performance.

Heart Of Fabric

by nicole in Peace and the Arts

When I noticed the heart of fabric, I filmed the Malagasy organic cotton farmer for a while.  I wish I knew the story behind this shirt.  Now it’s part of a new story. ~NMH

Ted Kheel – Last Turn, Your Turn

by nicole in Peace and the Arts

In keeping with the spirit of the 1992 Climate Summit in Rio De Janeiro, I created this film to highlight Ted Kheel’s original Earth Pledge. Ted Kheel and Robert Rauschenberg warn us that if we don’t do something about the environment, we’ll all be lost.

NYC And The Grasshopper

by nicole in Peace and the Arts

Walking on the High Line, not only are the guests at the Standard Hotel spectating, nature is also keeping a watchful eye. This grasshopper reminded me of the great Aesop fable and the adapted movie I love ~ A Bug’s Life.
Moral of the story, “Idleness brings want.” Am I prepared for winter?
